Direct Health Services

With our CREAting Healthy Communities campaign, or CREAndo Comunidades Saludables campaign, we bring health directly to people. Our work integrates direct health services with broader health education and awareness, free of charge. We focus on preventative care and health education in our partnerships and opening access to communities throughout Colorado, including providing referrals to local clinics and healthcare institutions.

Much of our outreach focuses on serving Latino populations throughout the state of Colorado, meeting people where they are, such as at schools, businesses, churches, and community events. We focus on key priority public health issues, including but not limited to: nutrition, oral health, obesity, diabetes, reproductive health, child health, mental health, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, domestic violence, and access to health services. Health screenings are provided on a variety of health concerns such as Cholesterol, Diabetes, Body Mass Index, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and health related resources are provided on other issues such as asthma, cardiovascular disease, and physical activity.
